History Our first production, Ravenscroft, opened at Chicago's Athenaeum Theatre in January of 1996.  At a steady pace we have grown in theatre contacts and numbers of productions.  In 2000 we have received two Joseph Jefferson Nominations in our first eligibility with our production of Abundance.  2000 also marks a milestone for us establishing an Outreach program. Mission Pendulum Theatre Company is a not-for-profit ensemble striving to expand theatre appreciation in the Chicagoland community. Our mission is to present quality theatrical works with a varied play selection designed to captivate a culturally diverse audience and stimulate thought for the world we live in.  Our strength at Pendulum is made up of the selection of lessor known, or performed, scripts that are socially significant and the artistic excellence that we bring to our productions.  You Can Help!
